Black Womyn’s Weekend Play Writer’s Guild implements monthly workshops to educate and inspire our student body as well as to recognize the importance of theater in our daily lives. Black Womyn’s Weekend Play Writer’s Guild produces a play during Black Womyn’s Weekend that celebrates the theatrical achievements of African American playwrights. Our mission is to shed light on the essential part that theater and the arts have in our campus community as well as to enable students to use theater based skills in their everyday lives.
