PresidentMen In Progress (MIP) was created on the vision of unifying men on a college campus with the intention of creating a support system for males. MIP endeavors to uplift and educate young males, such that they would become leaders in their communities who improve the social and cultural image of males and encourage others to do the same.
TreasurerFounded in 1909, the NAACP is the nation's oldest and largest civil rights organization. From the ballot box to the classroom, the thousands of dedicated workers, organizers, leaders and members who make up the NAACP continue to fight for social justice for all Americans. The mission of the NAACP Youth & College Division shall be to inform youth of the problems affecting African Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities; to advance the economic, education, social and political status of African Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities and their harmonious cooperation with other peoples; to stimulate an appreciation of the African Diaspora and other people of color’s contribution to civilization; and to develop an intelligent, militant effective youth leadership.
