TreasurerMission Statement The Caribbean Student Association at State University of New York College at Old Westbury is an organization designed to complement and expand community knowledge and appreciation of Caribbean culture. In conjunction with these efforts we promote academic achievement, community service and most importantly cultural diversity. The Caribbean Students Association at Old Westbury hereafter referred to as CSA has been founded to create a support group among Caribbean students here at the college. We also wish to aid in improving cultural awareness, academic achievement and over all of the participating students of State Old Westbury. As an organization we also wish to plan educational and social events designed to complement and expand the Old Westbury community’s knowledge and appreciation of Caribbean culture. Our Program ideas are aimed at not only reaching the Caribbean peoples in the community but all who are able to benefit from our work.All members of the community, whether of Caribbean descent or not, are welcome in our organization.
