From the ballot box to the classroom, the thousands of dedicated workers, organizers, leaders and members who make up the NAACP continue to fight for social justice for all Americans. The mission of the NAACP Youth & College Division shall be to inform youth of the problems affecting African Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities; to advance the economic, education, social and political status of African Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities and their harmonious cooperation with other peoples; to stimulate an appreciation of the African Diaspora and other people of color’s contribution to civilization; and to develop an intelligent, militant effective youth leadership.

TreasurerDouble OC. We plan to provoke a change through both a community service based outreach group and a dance team that plans to promote unity among SUNY Old Westbury's diverse population in two separate entities. We plan to serve as role models by educating our peers on the importance of community service and other related awareness topics meanwhile properly representing our school at many community service opportunities on and off campus. We also intend to provide a quality team experience and the opportunity for members to enhance their dance technique through socially and culturally diverse performances. Each semester we plan to focus exclusively on a certain Service Project Subject (SPS).
